9:30am-12:00pm- Classroom Instruction- Coach John Zarcone- Bronze Certified Coach- Psychology, Mechanical  Analysis of Body Movement, Nutrition, Motivational Techniques, First Aid & Testing

 

12:00-12:45pm- Lunch Break

 

12:45- 2:45pm- On the Mat Demonstration- Al Bevilacqua- USA Wrestling National Coaching Staff 1983-1991-Gold Medal Certified Coach- with Grand Streets wrestlers- Curriculum- USA Wrestling Syllabus-7 Basic Skills- Attacking the Attack Zone- technical and tactical approach to wrestling- progressions of teaching skills and techniques- practice organization

 

2:45-3:00pm- Q & A

All coaches please bring shorts and T-Shirts for active participation on the mat with the Basic Skills & Drills

 

Fees- $75 includes USA Wrestling Book and USA Coaches Membership

take the L train towards Brooklyn
get off at Grand St. 
the school is on the corner of Grand st. and Bushwick ave.

Directions from long island-
Long Island Expy heading west. 
merge onto I-278W/ Brooklyn Queens Expy via exit 17W toward Brooklyn.
take the Meeker ave. exit, exit 34. continue on Meeker ave.
turn left onto Humboldt st/ McGuiness ave.  continue on Humboldt st.
turn left onto Grand Street
end up at 850 Grand Street.  corner of Bushwick ave.

Directions from the north-
take I-278W toward the Triboro Bridge/Manhattan/Queens
take the Meeker ave. exit, exit 34. continue on Meeker ave.
turn left onto Humboldt st/ McGuinness ave.  continue on Humboldt st.
turn left onto Grand Street
end up at 850 Grand Street.  corner of Bushwick ave.

Directions from New Jersey-
take I-278E, (exit 13 off of the NJ turnpike) toward Goethals bridge
follow signs for Verrazano bridge
stay right at the end of the Verrazano bridge staying on I-278E
take exit 33, Humboldt st. 
make right onto Humboldt st.
turn left onto Grand St.
end up at 850 Grand St. corner of Bushwick ave.

parking is available
follow the school around making a right onto Waterbury st. and a right onto Stagg st.  there is a big parking lot available for use on the right.
