NYC Wrestlers Prepare for Nationals

New York City and Beat The Streets have sent more than a half dozen elite athletes to the New York State - USA National training camp in Binghamton NY this week.

This camp is a dedicated training environment for the top wrestlers in NYS who will compete in Fargo,ND at the Asics Vaughn US National Tournament.

Representing the Big Apple are:

Ben Villaret
Brian Rogers
C.J. Rodriquez
Jay Alvarez
McZiggy Richards
Saih Caygan
Jorge Jiminez
Allen Cornelius

Team Leader and 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist, Jeff Blatnick, was quoted saying, "NYC (via Beat the Streets) is starting to produce top talent. Time will only tell, but NYC could be put on the wrestling map if these young men compete to the best of their ability next week in Fargo."
